In 2008, following the birth of her daughter, Sylvia began crafting natural, homemade skincare and health remedies for her family. The true turning point came in 2014, when her daughter suffered facial burns from a store-bought product used at a friend's birthday party. Driven to find a solution, Sylvia leaned on her herbal knowledge to formulate a clean remedy that completely restored her daughter's skin.

Inspired by that healing, Sylvia finished her formal studies to become a Certified Holistic Herbalist and officially launched The Honey Helix in 2018.
